Adding and Managing Tags

Tags are labels that help you organize, segment, and automate your contacts, deals, and companies. They make it easy to filter contacts, trigger workflows, and create Smart lists.

1. How to Add a Tag to a Single Contact

  1. Go to Contacts and select the contact you want to tag.

  2. Click the Add Tags icon in the contact details section.

  3. Type the tag name and optionally add a short description.

  4. Click Add Tags to save.

πŸ’‘ Tip: You can assign multiple tags to one contact for layered segmentation.


2. How to Bulk Add Tags to Multiple Contacts

  1. Navigate to Contacts β†’ All Contacts.

  2. Use filters or checkboxes to select multiple contacts you want to tag.

  3. Click the Add Tags icon in the contact details section.

  4. Type the tag name and optionally add a short description.

  5. Click Add Tags to apply the tags to all selected contacts.

4. How to Manage Tags Across Your CRM

  1. Go to Settings β†’ Tags to see a list of all tags used.

  2. To edit a tag, click the tag name and update it.

  3. To delete a tag, click Delete next to the tag you no longer need.

  4. Standardize tag names to avoid duplicates and maintain clarity.
