Task Management in Growth Suite

Learn how to manage tasks in Growth Suite Stay organized, track follow-ups, assign tasks to your team, and link them to contacts, deals, and pipelines.

1. Creating Tasks in Growth Suite (GoHighLevel)

Tasks help you stay organized, track follow-ups, and manage team accountability. You can create tasks manually or automatically via workflows. This guide focuses on creating manual tasks.

Tasks can be created from:

  • A Contact record

  • The Deal / Pipeline level

  • Directly from the Tasks tab in your dashboard


Steps to Create a Manual Task

  1. Navigate to the Contact → Tasks tab (or the Tasks tab directly).

  2. Click + Add Task.

  3. Fill in the required fields:

    • Task Title / Description – What needs to be done

    • Due Date / Time – When the task should be completed

    • Recurring Task – Optional: Set if this task repeats on a schedule

    • Assign To – Yourself or a team member

  4. Optionally, associate the task with a Contact, Opportunity, or Company for context.

  5. Click Save to create the task.


Managing and Viewing Tasks

  • Tasks can be viewed and managed under Contacts → Tasks.

  • Use filters to sort by status, due date, assignee or more.

  • Mark tasks as Complete when finished or Edit/Delete as needed.
