Intro
SyndicationPro uses FirstPromoter to manage affiliates and payouts. This article is going to walk you through how to sign up as a SyndicationPro affiliate, what that process looks like, and how to find your referral links and receive payouts.
Becoming an Affiliate & Configure Payout Method
First, let's take a look at how to sign up as a new affiliate and configure your payout method.
Step #1: Affiliate sign up
The first step that someone needs to take is to sign up as an affiliate through our website.
- Navigate to syndicationpro.com/affiliate
- Complete the simple affiliate sign-up form
- Click Sign Up
Note: If you already have an account, you simply select Log in here at the bottom of the form.
Step #2: Select payout method
The first thing you should do after you have created your account is to select your payout method.
- From the affiliate dashboard, click Select payout method
- The only payout method we provide at this time is via PayPal
- Click Select on the PayPal row for available payout methods
- Enter your PayPal email
- If you do not have a PayPal account, you must create one, then come back to this step.

- Click Save
Get Your Promoter-Specific Referral Link
Now that you have created your account and your payout method has been configured, it's important that you know where to find your referral link.
- Navigate to syndicationpro.com/affiliate
- Log into your account
- Find the Share on social media section
- Click Copy
If there are multiple links you can use to promote, you can click the Links dropdown in the same section and select which link you would like the share.
You can also customize your referral links to match your brand if you so desire.
FAQs
Q: How does affiliate tracking work?
A: Affiliates sign up and become an affiliate through the affiliate portal (https://syndicationpro.com/affiliate). After you have signed up, you will get a unique link that you can share with prospects. This unique link has ?fpr= at the end of it, followed by your unique identifier. Here are some examples:
- https://syndicationpro.com/book-a-demo?fpr=landon77
- https://syndicationpro.com/request-pricing?fpr=landon77
The ?fpr parameter identified that this is an affiliate link, and the =landon77 parameter identifies which promoter/affiliate should get the credit.
If someone visits a referral link, their browser will be cookied for up to 90 days. That means that if someone visits the SynPro website through a referral link, but doesn't sign up... then comes back a week later through a different source (not the referral link again), the promoter/affiliate will still get credit for that prospect/lead.
Q: How are affiliates paid?
A: Affiliates are paid through their affiliate portal via PayPal. You must have a PayPal account if you want to receive payments for your referrals. See Step #2: Select payout method above for details on configuring this.
Q: When are affiliates paid?
A: Affiliate payouts are sent out quarterly, within 2 weeks following the end of each quarter.
