The contact fields lets you personalize their CRM to collect investor data that fits your workflow. This guide walks you through how to access, create, edit, and manage Contact fields in the CRM.
🔍 Accessing Contact Fields

Go to the Contacts section.

Click the More dropdown in the top-right corner.

Select Edit Contact Fields.
This will open the Contact Fields page, where you can view and manage all default and Contact fields.
✏️ Editing Default Fields
- Default fields include: First Name, Last Name, Nickname, Email, etc. These core default fields cannot be modified.
- The only editable default field is Investment Capacity:

You can add, remove, or hide dropdown options.

Core field structure (like field type or name) cannot be changed.

You can clone any default field to create an editable version.
Note: Please be aware that any modifications made to the Investment Capacity field will automatically update on the Investor portal sign-up page.
➕ Adding Contact Fields
Click the "New Contact Field" button to add a new field.
Supported field types:

New Contact fields will automatically appear in the Columns and Filters options within the CRM.

⚙️ Managing Contact Fields

You can edit, clone, or delete any Contact field.

Important: Changing a field’s type will erase all existing data for that field.
- Each Contact field shows how many contacts currently have a value set (Adoption metric).
⚠️ Handling Option Deletion
If you try to delete a dropdown option that’s already in use:

A prompt will appear asking you to:

Reassign to another option, or
-
Leave it blank

Note: Changes are saved only when you click Save.
