Verify Accreditation

This option will be used for sponsors to check the accreditation status of their investors and different profiles directly from their profile instead of going to the Offering every time.

Sponsor

Log into your SyndicationPro account and complete the following:

  1. Click Investors from the left-hand navigation menu
  2. Select a specific investor you want to view
  3. Click Manage Accreditation towards the top of the screen

The process is the same for Leads as well:

  1. Click Lead from the left-hand navigation menu
  2. Select a specific lead you want to view
  3. Click Manage Accreditation towards the top of the screen

Clicking on the Manage Accreditation option will open a popup that will list all the investor profiles available for this investor/lead.

The latest accreditation documents will be shown in the current profile. The previously uploaded accreditation documents will be shown in the past tab.

You can also edit the status and expiration date of the accreditation document by clicking on the edit button.

If the profile does not have any accreditation documents available, then you will have the ability to upload a document directly to their profile.

You can also upload new accreditation documents from the docs section of the same page.

Upon uploading an accreditation document you will need to assign it to a profile or else it will be considered unassociated.

Upon clicking on the ‘Assign’ button, you can select the ‘Profile’ and the ‘Expiration Date’.

Once submitted, the document will be automatically marked as accredited unless the document is already expired.

Investor’s Portal View

The following details will show you what investors will see on their end.

After an investor logs into your portal, they complete the following:

  1. Click Documents from the left-hand navigation menu
  2. Click Accreditations tab

On this screen, investors will see accreditation details specific to current and past accreditations. These details include Profile Name, Type, Expiration date, Status, and verification type.

The user experience here is very similar to what is viewed on the Sponsor side.

Any accreditation document uploaded by the investor will have a default status as Pending.

If the document's expiration date is less than the current date then the document will marked as Expired by default.

Unassociated documents can be assigned to a profile by clicking on the Assign button in line with the document. This interaction is similar to the Sponsor side.

NOTE: If multiple documents are uploaded by a Sponsor and/or Investor for the same profile, SyndicationPro will identify the document with the greatest expiration date and show it on the current tab; the rest are moved to the past tab.

To override this manually, the Sponsor and/or investor can move any document from past to current by clicking on the Assign as Current button on the past tab.

Accreditation documents from Parallel Markets will be shown and managed from the same current and past accreditations tab. Here the Sponsor or Investor will not have the ability to change the status of the document or edit the expiration date or change the profile type of the document.
