What is the difference between self-verification and 3rd party accreditation verification?

    Self Verify

Upon registration, users will be asked if they are accredited. They simply answer "Yes" or "No" and you rely on their answer in order to determine if they are accredited or not.

This form of accreditation is called "Self Verification" and is displayed on the Leads page under the "Self Acc" column.

This form of verification is common in Reg D 506(b) offerings.

    3rd Party

This form of verification commonly involves a letter from a 3rd party like a CPA to verify the accreditation of your investor.

SyndicationPro offers robust options to streamline this type of verified accreditation directly through the platform which is common for Reg D 506(c) offerings. Click Here to learn more.
